Our passionate team is dedicated to delivering high-quality early years education and care. We are currently looking for a skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team in Portswood. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of your designated room, ensuring exceptional standards of care and education. You will lead a team of practitioners, foster children's development, and build strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.
Role/Responsibilities/Duties
The core requirements for the job role are:
Understand and have a good knowledge of the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage, the Inspection Handbook, Ofsted and Local Authority requirements.
Ensure that all statutory guidance is adhered to.
To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their childs development.
Lead and inspire a team of Early Years Practitioners
Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for children
Plan, implement and monitor age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
Maintain accurate records of childrens progress and development
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the nursery through reflective practice and collaboration.

Essential Criteria
Minimum Level 3 Early Years Qualification
Experience in a nursery/ pre-school setting, ideally in a senior or leadership role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework and statutory requirements
