We are seeking a motivated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our vibrant Early Years team on a full-time, fixed term basis during term time. In this key leadership role, you will inspire and support a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes each child’s development and wellbeing. The ideal candidate will have a relevant Level 3 qualification, proven leadership experience in an early years setting, strong knowledge of safeguarding, and excellent communication skills. If you are passionate about making a positive difference to young children’s lives and leading a committed team, we would love to hear from you.

The Successful Candidate Will Be

  • A qualified early years practitioner (Level 3 or above) with at least three years’ experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • A confident leader who can inspire, supervise, and support a team to deliver high-quality EYFS provision
  • Passionate about early childhood development and committed to providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
  • Highly organised, with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Knowledgeable in safeguarding, health and safety, and early years best practice, with a proactive and reflective approach to continuous improvement

Position: Fixed term for one year, term-time only

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.00 am to 5.30 pm (1 hour for lunch)

Salary: £24,752 (FTE £30,940) £14.00 per hour

Start Date: 1st September 2025
