Job summary

JEM Childcare Solutions Limited in Horley is seeking a very experienced Room Leader to join a busy nursery and lead a room, working a 40 hour week with a salary around £30,500 depending on experience.

You will hold a Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification and proven room-leading experience, with EYFS knowledge, safeguarding, Ofsted compliance and strong teamwork to support families and children.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
• Minimum 1 year’s experience leading a room in a nursery or earlyyears setting.
• Knowledge of child development, EYFS, and safeguarding.
• Deliver high-quality care and learning experiences within your room and the wider nursery setting.
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted requirements.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, andcolleagues in the nursery setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a nursery room and support staff to deliver high-quality care and learning.
• Maintain Ofsted compliance and safeguarding standards.
• Foster strong relationships with families and colleagues within the nursery.
• Promote best practices and maintain a safe, nurturing environment across the nursery.
