Job summary

Busy Bees in Harlow is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and drive the Bee Curious curriculum across the centre. You will inspire your team to achieve high standards of care and learning, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 in early years and has supervisory experience, with a passion for developing children and building strong family relationships. Flexible shifts and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Supervisory experience ideally as Nursery Room Leader/Manager.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee development and wellbeing of children and communicate progress with parents.
• Take on Key Person responsibilities to support holistic development and care.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and environment is secure.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
