Job summary

Busy Bees Reading is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, lead curriculum delivery, and inspire a team. The role focuses on high standards of care, development, and collaboration with families while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have Level 3 EY qualifications and supervising experience in an early years setting, with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.

• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person for a group of children, supporting holistic development.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and the environment is clean and secure.

Busy Bees Reading, rated Good by Ofsted, has a capacity of 109 children and features a friendly team with low staff turnover, fostering a stable and supportive environment for both children and staff. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
