Job summary

Busy Bees Guildford Fitzsimmons Place is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and ensure educational strategies are integrated across the centre. This leadership role inspires your team to achieve high standards of care and learning.

You will lead planning, create a safe, stimulating environment, and manage health and safety while acting as Key Person. The nursery offers extensive benefits through Hive, staff discounts, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Busy Bees Guildford Fitzsimmons Place accommodates 124 children and features a longstanding team dedicated to providing the best start in life for every child. Conveniently located, the nursery is just a two-minute walk from the nearest bus stop and a 10-minute walk from the train station, making it easily accessible for families. During your lunch break, you can enjoy the nearby town, which is also a 10-minute walk away, or take a quick five-minute stroll to the river. Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
