Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries in Harrogate is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and ensure the Bee Curious curriculum is woven through daily activities. You will inspire your team, nurture children's development, and maintain high standards of care and safety in a supportive, collaborative environment.

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory responsibilities is preferred.

• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring the holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.

About Our Nursery

Harrogate Hornbeam Park is an Ofsted-rated 'Good' nursery with a capacity of 146 children, serving ages from birth to preschool. It was the first purpose-built addition to Busy Bees and offers extensive play resources and activities. The nursery acts as a feeder to several schools in Harrogate, ensuring a smooth transition for children when they move on to school. Children particularly enjoy the investigation station, yoga area, and the self-registration process each morning. The facility also provides free parking.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
