Job summary

Kido Greenwich Nursery & Preschool in London is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to oversee daily operations, lead the team, and champion our values in a fast-growing international setting.

You will ensure safeguarding, promote an engaging curriculum, and support staff development while upholding the key person and buddy key person approach. This full-time role offers career growth and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 childcare qualification and experience leading in an Early Years setting.
• Level 2 English qualifications including functional skills are required if you obtained Level 3 after 2014.

• Be a positive role model and inspire outstanding teaching and learning every day.
• Lead performance reviews, give supportive feedback, and set SMART goals for growth.

Kido are looking for a Nursery Room Leader to join the team at Kido International Nursery & Preschool Greenwich, 65 Banning St, London, SE10 0YH.

What we’re looking for!

For the Room Leader role, it is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification, Level 3 minimum and experience leading in an Early Years setting. Level 2 qualifications in English including functional skills are also a must if you obtained a Level 3 qualification after 2014.

What you'll be doing!

• Lead your team with the smooth running of day-to-day activities by communicating key information to team members and parents
• Be a positive role model by inspiring outstanding teaching and learning every day
• Lead your team’s performance reviews by giving supportive feedback, setting clear SMART goals, and encouraging them to grow and reach their next steps
• Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) ensuring the safety and welfare of all children is always prioritised and at the heart of everything we do
• Lead an ambitious curriculum for your room making sure that everyone is striving for outstanding in their education delivery
• Ensure that the key person approach is well embedded in your room and every child also has both a key person and a buddy key person
• Take pride in your development by ensuring you access continued professional development opportunities and encourage your team to do so
