The Room Leader role offers a salary range of £28,000 to £33,000, and is a full time, 40 hours per week position. For the Room Leader role, it is essential that you hold a relevant childcare qualification, Level 3 minimum and have experience working within management in Early Years. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English including functional skills are also a must if you obtained a Level 3 qualification after 2014.

Lead your team with the smooth running of day-to-day activities by communicating key information to team members and parents.
Be a positive role model by inspiring outstanding teaching and learning every day.
Lead your team’s performance reviews by giving supportive feedback, setting clear SMART goals, and encouraging them to grow and reach their next steps.
Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) ensuring the safety and welfare of all children is always prioritised and at the heart of everything we do.
Lead an ambitious curriculum for your room making sure that everyone is striving for outstanding in their education delivery.
Ensure that the key person approach is well embedded in your room and every child also has both a key person and a buddy key person.
