Job summary

Busy Bees Enfield Montessori is recruiting a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, drive the Bee Curious curriculum, and inspire a team to deliver high-quality care and learning.

You will supervise staff, ensure a safe and inclusive environment, monitor child progress, and maintain strong partnerships with families in a supportive, growth-oriented setting.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in early years education.
• Supervisory experience in an early years setting is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
