Job summary

Busy Bees Bishops Stortford is seeking a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms, implement the Bee Curious curriculum, and lead a team of early years professionals. The role focuses on delivering high standards of care and education, with opportunities for professional development and advancement within a large UK nursery group.

The ideal candidate holds Level 3 in Early Years, with supervisory experience and strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Qualifications

• Level 3 EYFS qualification or higher.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.

• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring their progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
