Job summary

Busy Bees Alton Manor in Belper is an Ofsted Outstanding nursery with a 90-child capacity, part of the UK's leading nursery group Busy Bees. As a Room Leader, you will oversee multiple rooms, ensuring the Bee Curious curriculum is implemented and that high standards of care and learning are achieved across the centre.

You will inspire your team, support children's development, build strong relationships with families, and uphold health and safety in a vibrant community setting in Belper.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is tracked and shared with parents.
• Take on the Key Person role for a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and maintain a clean environment.

Required Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children's development and creating positive relationships with families.
