Busy Bees is seeking a confident Room Leader in Kettering to oversee multiple rooms and embed our Bee Curious curriculum across the centre. You will inspire your team to deliver the highest standards of care and early learning, while ensuring strong relationships with families and a positive, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education or equivalent.
• Experience in an early years setting with supervisory responsibilities is preferred.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
• Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
• Oversee the development and wellbeing of children, ensuring progress is tracked and communicated with parents.
• Take on the role of Key Person, ensuring holistic development and personal care needs of a group of children.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met, maintaining a clean and secure environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
• Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
