Job summary

Busy Bees Thames Ditton seeks a Room Leader to oversee multiple rooms and inspire high standards of care and learning. You will drive the Bee Curious curriculum across the centre and lead a devoted team to deliver exceptional experiences for children.

As Key Person, you will monitor progress, support families, and ensure safe, stimulating environments while modelling best practice. This role offers growth within Busy Bees and a collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting with supervisory experience ideally as a Nursery Room Leader/Manager.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities and curriculum in your room.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment for children.
  • Foster a high-performing team through supportive leadership and collaboration.
  • Oversee development and wellbeing of children, with progress communicated to parents.
  • Take on the role of Key Person for a group of children.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met and the environment is clean and secure.

Busy Bees Thames Ditton, rated Good by Ofsted, accommodates 89 children in a bright and spacious nursery divided into three rooms, each tailored to different age ranges. This ensures that your child develops at the same pace as their friends. Required Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:

  • Level 3 qualification or above in early years education.
  • Experience in an early years setting, with supervisory experience an advantage ideally as a Nursery Room Leader, Nursery Room Manager or Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about fostering children’s development and creating positive relationships with families.
