Job summary

Thrive Childcare and Education is seeking a Nursery Practitioner - Supply for Trafford Park, Greater Manchester. The role offers flexible hours and a competitive hourly rate, with opportunities for funded training and career progression within Thrive.

You will work across a friendly team to provide high-quality care for children aged 3 months to 5 years, incorporating outdoor learning and a nature-based approach. This supply position supports daily routines and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting development.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing and engaging care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
• Support and deliver stimulating learning experiences through play and planned activities.
• Promote children’s individual learning and development.
• Support daily routines, activities and holiday cover.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Work as part of a dedicated Early Years team.
• Promote health, safety and wellbeing of all children.
• Follow nursery policies including safeguarding requirements.
• Be a positive role model for children and colleagues.
