Job summary

Thrive Leyland Meadows is seeking a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly supply team. You will work with children aged 3 months to 5 years across both indoor and outdoor settings, delivering high-quality care and learning experiences.

We offer flexible hours, competitive pay (£13.45 per hour for Level 2 or 3), and opportunities for funded training and development within a supportive team at a well-established nursery with excellent transport links.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Passion for working with young children and supporting development.
• Reliable, enthusiastic and positive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiences.
• Strong safeguarding awareness and welfare understanding.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, nurturing and engaging care for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
• Support and deliver stimulating learning experiences through play and planned activities.
• Promote children’s individual learning and development.
• Support daily routines, activities and holiday cover.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Work effectively as part of a skilled Early Years team.
• Promote the health, safety and wellbeing of all children.
• Follow nursery policies and safeguarding requirements.
• Act as a positive role model for children and colleagues.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
