Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner for a Belper setting (DE56). This full-time role runs 8:00am–6:00pm, delivering play-based activities and supporting children through daily routines in a nurturing environment.

Applicants should hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification or have at least six months of Early Years experience, with a patient, caring approach and safeguarding commitment. Driving licence is helpful but not essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification or at least six months' experience in an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and Early Learning Goals.
• Experience delivering play-based activities and continuous provision.
• Ability to work with children individually and in small groups.
• Patient, caring and positive approach with passion for early years.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

Responsibilities

• Work full-time across shifts 8:00am–6:00pm.
• Deliver engaging play-based activities and support daily routines.
• Assist small group sessions and personal care where required.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating environment for children.
