Job summary

Sherford Vale School & Nursery in Plymouth is seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to cover maternity leave. You will support the Early Years provision, implement safeguarding procedures, and work with SEND practices to support children’s development.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, have Paediatric First Aid knowledge, and be prepared for an enhanced DBS disclosure as part of safeguarding commitments within Westcountry Schools Trust.

Qualifications

• Qualified Nursery Practitioner with Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of Early Years and safeguarding policies.
• Experience with SEND practice and processes.

Sherford Vale School & Nursery currently has a vacancy for a qualified, experienced Nursery Practitioner to cover Maternity Leave. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance our growing provision, in the new town of Sherford, and as a partner in Westcountry Schools Trust . The person appointed would need the skills and qualities necessary to demonstrate - a secure level of understanding of the Early Years, Safeguarding policies/procedures, SEND practice and processes, Paediatric First Aid, and have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
