Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a private day nursery in Durham. This long-term role offers an immediate start and the chance to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. Pay is £14-£15 per hour, with full-time hours and ongoing support from our consultants.

You will work with a welcoming nursery team to create engaging learning experiences, support language development and help children feel happy, confident and secure.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with young children in an Early Years setting.
• Enthusiasm, creativity and energy to engage children.

We're looking for someone who brings energy, creativity and a genuinely caring approach to their work. You’ll work alongside a supportive nursery team to create exciting learning opportunities while helping children feel happy, confident and secure.

What will you be doing?

You’ll work closely with an experienced nursery team to create a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children can learn, explore and thrive.

You’ll help plan and deliver engaging activities, encourage communication and language development, support growing independence and celebrate children's achievements along the way.

You’ll support children at different stages of their Early Years journey and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure their individual needs are met.

• Previous experience working with young children in an Early Years setting
