Job summary

Busy Bees Nurseries in Hitchin is seeking an Early Years Educator to support children's development within our Ofsted-rated Good setting. You will create engaging learning experiences for under-5s, foster a safe, inclusive environment and contribute to our Bee Curious curriculum.

You will take on the Key Person role, build strong relationships with children and families, and help track progress through observations and assessments to inform planning and support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in early years education/childcare (required).
• Experience working with children under 5.
• Empathy and understanding of each child’s needs.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering educational activities for children’s development.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Take on the Key Person role, building strong partnerships with children and families.
• Track and report on children’s progress through observations and assessments.
