Job summary

IvyHouse Nursery in Farnham (Wellington Lane) is seeking a warm, honest Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. You will help provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children, plan age-appropriate activities, and support EYFS learning.

The role is full-time, 38 hours across four days, with shifts from 7:30am to 6pm. A Level 2+ Early Years qualification is required and safeguarding checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Early Years or childcare qualification at Level 2 or above.
• Experience in a nursery setting is desirable.
• Safeguarding checks will be completed before appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
• Observe progress and help plan next steps.
• Support daily routines and personal care as needed.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming nursery environment.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality care.
