Job summary

IvyHouse Nursery in Farnham (Wellington Lane) is seeking a warm, honest Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team. You will help provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children, plan age-appropriate activities, and support EYFS learning.

The role is full-time, 38 hours across four days, with shifts from 7:30am to 6pm. A Level 2+ Early Years qualification is required and safeguarding checks will be completed.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Early Years or childcare qualification at Level 2 or above.
• Experience in a nursery setting is desirable.
• Safeguarding checks will be completed before appointment.

Full-Time Nursery Practitioner - Wellington Lane, Farnham

We are looking for a warm, honest and hardworking Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly nursery setting in Farnham, GU9 9BA.

Our nursery is a beautiful, cosy setting which has a lovely outdoor space for children of all ages to enjoy. We have a chef on site cooking homely meals for the children each day and have a multitude of activites set up daily to keep the children engaged and happy.

The Role Of Nursery Practitioner

You will work as part of a close-knit team that supports one another and shares a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and thrive. Your responsibilities as a Nursery Practitioner will include:

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Building warm and trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Observing children's progress and helping to plan their next steps.
• Supporting children's personal care and daily routines.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming nursery environment.
• Working closely with colleagues to provide consistently high-quality care.

An appropriate Early Years or childcare qualification at Level 2 or above is a must and relevant experience would be desirable. Any appointment will be subject to the necessary safer recruitment and safeguarding checks.

Working hours

This is a full-time, permanent position working 38 hours across four days each week.

Your working hours will be 7:30am to 6pm, with appropriate breaks. The four-day working week provides a regular weekday away from work while still offering stable full-time hours.
