Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner for a full-time, long-term role in Gloucester, starting November. You will support children aged 3–4 in the nursery, creating a safe, nurturing environment and contributing to play-based learning.

You will work indoors and outdoors, helping develop early communication, literacy and numeracy skills, and building strong relationships with children, families and the Nursery team. DBS clearance is required and references are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in Nursery, Early Years or Primary School setting.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is advantageous.
• A DBS check (update service preferred or within 12 months).
• Strong safeguarding awareness and pupil wellbeing.
• Excellent references from previous roles.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 3–4 years with learning and development.
• Provide high-quality care within the nursery environment.
