Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd in Gloucester is recruiting an experienced Nursery Nurse to work across early years settings. You will provide high-quality care and support to young children, helping them learn through play, routines and structured activities.

The role requires Level 2/3 Early Years, strong EYFS knowledge, and a patient, reliable approach. DBS on Update Service preferred; SEN experience is an advantage but not essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Nursery Nurse or in an early years setting.
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or equivalent.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply.
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children in early years settings.
• Support children's learning and development through play.
• Assist with communication, language, physical and social development.
• Support daily routines, activities and transitions.
• Encourage positive behaviour and independence.
• Build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Support children with SEN and additional needs where required.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
