Job summary

Randstad NV is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner (Forest Row) to join a welcoming team in Forest Row, East Sussex. The role is full-time, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, with permanent contract and £14.00-£16.00 per hour depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (NVQ, CACHE or equivalent) and have experience in EYFS, safeguarding, and DBS clearance. Join us to support children's development in a nurturing setting.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Previous experience in an Early Years setting.
• Sound understanding of EYFS, child development and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, warm personality and passion for early education.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) and references.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person, building strong relationships with children and families.
• Plan and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS.
• Observe, assess, and track children's progress to support milestones.
• Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene and safeguarding at all times.
• Collaborate with team to foster a warm, inclusive and stimulating setting.
