Job summary

Odin Recruitment Group is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for an early years setting in Hildenborough, near Tonbridge, Kent. The role is full-time (40 hours across four or five days) with a salary of £28,000–£30,000 per year, depending on experience.

You will provide high-quality care, deliver engaging activities, observe and support development, and work within the EYFS framework, building strong relationships with families.

Qualifications

• Must have a full and relevant Level 3 early years or childcare qualification.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
• Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding responsibilities.

Level 3 Nursery Practitioner

Location: Hildenborough, Tonbridge, Kent

Salary: £28,000–£30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours across four or five days

We are recruiting a warm, enthusiastic and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join an early years setting in Hildenborough, near Tonbridge.

This is a full-time opportunity offering the flexibility to work 40 hours across either four or five days. You will join an established team focused on providing children with a safe, nurturing and engaging environment in which they can learn and develop.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality care and learning experiences for children
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Observing, assessing and recording children’s development
• Working effectively within the EYFS framework
• Acting as a key person and building trusted relationships with families
• Supporting children’s individual needs, interests and development

About you

To be considered, you must have:

• A full and relevant Level 3 early years or childcare qualification
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A good understanding of the EYFS
• Sound knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities
• A caring, reliable and positive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development

The successful candidate will receive a salary of between £28,000 and £30,000, depending on experience.
