Job summary

SMART Education Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Practitioner for roles in Sutton Coldfield. The position offers flexible hours, with both full-time and part-time options, starting 1 September 2026.

You will deliver EYFS-aligned activities in welcoming nurseries and support children's social, emotional and educational growth. Ideal candidates hold Level 2/3 in Early Years (or equivalent), have Nursery Practitioner experience, and hold or be willing to obtain a valid DBS.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Nursery Practitioner.
• Paediatric First Aid qualification is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Ability to provide references covering the previous 24 months.

• Support children's development across all areas.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating environment.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

The Role
