Job summary

IvyHouse Nursery in Cobham & Stoke D'Abernon is seeking a Full-Time Early Years Practitioner to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children, delivering engaging activities and supporting EYFS development.

You will join a warm, close-knit team, working 40 hours across four days each week (7:30am to 6:30pm) with a generous leave package and staff perks. A commitment to safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

• An Early Years or childcare qualification at Level 2 or above is required.
• Relevant experience would be desirable.

Full-Time Early Years Practitioner - Cobham & Stoke D'Abernon

We are looking for a warm, honest and hardworking Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery in Cobham & Stoke D'Abernon, KT11 3PS.

Our nursery is a beautiful, homely setting which has a large outdoor space and we are lucky enough to be surrounded by a lovely, scenic recreational ground so we really do love taking th children of all ages outdoors as much as possible.

The role

You will work as part of a close-knit team that supports one another and shares a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and thrive. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Building warm and trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Observing children's progress and helping to plan their next steps.
• Supporting children's personal care and daily routines.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming nursery environment.
• Working closely with colleagues to provide consistently high-quality care.

Working hours

This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours across four days each week.

Your working hours will be 7:30am to 6:30pm, with appropriate breaks. The four-day working week provides a regular weekday away from work while still offering stable full-time hours.
