Job summary

Ivy House Nursery in Weybridge is seeking a Full-Time Early Years Practitioner to join our warm, nurturing setting on Station Approach. You will contribute to a safe, stimulating environment and support children’s development.

You will plan engaging activities, build relationships with families and colleagues, and help children thrive in the EYFS framework. This role offers a 40-hour week across four days, with shifts from 7:30am to 6:30pm.

Full-Time Early Years Practitioner - Weybridge

We are looking for a warm, honest and hardworking Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly nursery in our flagship setting on Station Approach, Weybridge.

Our nursery offers a cosy, homely and nurturing environment where children can feel safe, secure and valued. You will work as part of a close-knit team that supports one another and shares a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow and thrive.

The role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children.
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Supporting children's learning and development in line with the EYFS.
• Building warm and trusting relationships with children and their families.
• Observing children's progress and helping to plan their next steps.
• Supporting children's personal care and daily routines.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming nursery environment.
• Working closely with colleagues to provide consistently high-quality care.

Working hours

This is a full-time, permanent position working 40 hours across four days each week.

Your working hours will be 7:30am to 6:30pm, with appropriate breaks. The four-day working week provides a regular weekday away from work while still offering stable full-time hours.
