Job summary

Willingcare in Shepperton is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm, Ofsted Good-rated nursery. The role covers 40 hours per week, offering a competitive salary of £29,900 and a supportive environment that emphasises play-based, child-led learning in line with the EYFS.

You will deliver high-quality early years education, act as key person for a group of children, document progress, and collaborate with a caring team to safeguard and nurture every child’s development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Experience in an EYFS nursery or early years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, play-based learning experiences aligned with EYFS.
• Act as a key person for an assigned group of children and build relationships with families.
• Observe, assess, and document children's development in learning journeys.
• Support planning and preparation of age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.

Are you a qualified Nursery Practitioner with a Level 3 Early Years qualification looking to join a nursery that genuinely cares about its team and the children it serves? What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 Early Years qualification or above – Essential
• Experience working in an EYFS nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework, child development, and safeguarding
• A warm, caring approach with a genuine passion for working with young children
• Reliable team player with strong communication skills
