Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner in Rothwell to support children in the Pre-School room. The role offers both full-time and part-time arrangements with day-to-day cover possibilities and long-term placements.

You will deliver engaging activities, monitor progress and promote independence, working within a nurturing EYFS environment that values early learning and development.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification highly desired, but not required if highly experienced.
• Experience working as Nursery Practitioner within an Early Years setting
• Good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
• Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning opportunities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, reliable and proactive approach

Salary: £13.50 - £14.75 per hour

The setting promotes child-led learning through stimulating indoor and outdoor spaces, creating positive early learning experiences for every child.

The nursery is looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Practitioner on a full-time or part time basis, with opportunities for both long-term and permanent employment or even just day to day cover. The successful Nursery Practitioner will primarily support children within the Pre-School room, helping to deliver engaging activities, monitor progress and promote independence in preparation for school.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification highly desired, but not required if highly experienced
• Experience working as a Nursery Practitioner within an Early Years setting
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
• Ability to create engaging and stimulating learning opportunities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, reliable and proactive approach
