A brand new nursery is opening in Reading! We are offering a full-time position with a salary of up to £25,750 per annum across all three locations.

Options for 4-day workweeks with one day off are available, providing flexibility for the right candidate. A Level 2 or above childcare qualification is required. The shift pattern is flexible and can be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality in the nursery concerning environment, resources, and experiences for children.
• Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children.
• Ensure children receive age-appropriate, stimulating experiences.
• Prepare and support children's activities.
• Maintain effective day-to-day management of the playroom in the absence of the Team/Room Leader.
• Ensure nursery practices meet the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements.
• Support and mentor students and unqualified staff to deliver high-quality childcare.
