Nursery Nurse - £29,000 DOE - 4 Day working week

Are you passionate about working with children and eager to embark on a rewarding career in childcare? We're excited to partner with a warm and welcoming family-run nursery in the Leatherhead area, who are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their growing team.

Due to their continued expansion, our client is offering a fantastic opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a nurturing nursery environment, with the incredible benefit of full funding for your NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare. This is the perfect stepping stone for anyone who has experience working in a Nursery or preschool setting and you are looking to build a successful career in early years education.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Assisting experienced nursery practitioners in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
* Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Engaging in outdoor play and exploration, fostering children's curiosity and love for nature.
* Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children.
* Undertaking and completing your fully funded NVQ Level 3 qualification in childcare, gaining practical experience and theoretical knowledge.
* Assisting with meal times and general nursery duties.

What We're Looking For:

* A genuine passion for working with children.
* A positive, enthusiastic, and reliable attitude.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A willingness to learn and develop your childcare skills.
* A GCSE in English (essential for NVQ Qualification).
* A driving licence and access to a car (beneficial due to the nursery's location).
