Teaching Personnel, in partnership with a highly regarded independent school, are recruiting a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join their Nursery and Pre-School provision. This role supports learning and development within the Early Years, creating a safe, stimulating environment in line with EYFS.

You will contribute to children's development through purposeful play, observe progress, and build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Early Years settings and EYFS.
  • DBS check and safeguarding compliance.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities for young children.

Nursery Practitioner

Salary: Up to £23,280 per annum

Hours: 39 hours per week

Contract: 1 Year Maternity - Term Time Only + 6 weeks

Start Date: October

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a highly regarded independent school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their thriving Nursery and Pre-School provision.

About the Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of children within the Early Years setting. Working as part of a supportive team, you will help provide a safe, stimulating and engaging environment in line with the EYFS framework.

You will contribute to children's development through purposeful play, engaging activities and positive relationships, helping to give every child the best possible start to their education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children's learning and development through purposeful play and planned activities.
  • Assist with the planning and delivery of an engaging EYFS curriculum.
  • Observe, assess and record children's progress and development.
  • Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and parents/carers.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider Nursery and Early Years team.

The Ideal Candidate

The school is looking for a Nursery Practitioner who is enthusiastic, caring and genuinely passionate about working with young children.

You will ideally have
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working with young children within an Early Years or Nursery setting.
  • A strong understanding of children's development and the EYFS framework.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A nurturing, patient and positive approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
