Job summary

Bright Horizons Otterbourne Day Nursery and Pre School is seeking an Early Years Practitioner to join our Otterbourne team. You will plan and deliver engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework while ensuring a safe, caring environment for children to grow and explore.

We value inclusivity, strong partnerships with families and colleagues, and ongoing professional development as part of our HEART culture. DBS checks and safeguarding are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with colleagues and parents/carers.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each of your key children to encourage development towards key milestones.
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and foster a lifelong love of learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents to support children's progress and wellbeing.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Otterbourne Day Nursery and Pre School

Salary level 2 – £27,009 - £27,823 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

Salary level 3 – £28,972 - £33,020 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification

• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments

• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
