Job summary

Bright Horizons Hove Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking an Early Years Lunchtime Practitioner to join our team. You will plan, supervise and support safe, engaging lunch times and activities, helping children develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

You will reflect on outcomes, work with teachers to tailor activities, and contribute to our HEART culture of honesty, excellence, accountability, respect and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.

Responsibilities

• Plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities tailored to each child to support development.
• Create a safe environment that allows children to express themselves and fosters a lifelong love of learning.

Salary – Starting from £12.99 per hour (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

The Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will plan, create, implement and reflect on engaging activities, tailored to each of your key children, to encourage their development towards key milestones. You will create a safe environment that allows children the freedom to express themselves, engage their minds, and help to foster a lifelong love of learning.

What We’re Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
• Passion for creating fun and inclusive learning environments
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
