Randstad Education is hiring a Permanent Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3) for a welcoming nursery in Horley, Surrey. This full-time role runs 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with stability and ongoing professional development.

You will deliver EYFS education, manage a key group, support families, and uphold safeguarding. NVQ/CACHE/NCFE Level 2 or 3 is required; Enhanced DBS is preferred. Excellent career progression and dedicated support from Randstad.

Qualifications

NVQ / CACHE / NCFE Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding protocols.
Experience in a UK nursery, early years, or pre-school setting.
Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to complete one).
Reliable, caring, proactive, and committed to a long-term early years career.

Responsibilities

Deliver EYFS education: plan and run play-based activities tailored to children's developmental needs under EYFS.
Key Person duties: manage a group of key children, track milestones, keep progress records.
Provide high-quality care in a safe, clean, and emotionally supportive environment.
Engage with parents and carers to provide daily progress updates.
Uphold safeguarding, health, hygiene and child protection standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Permanent Nursery Practitioner in Horley, your daily responsibilities will include:

Delivering EYFS Education: Planning and running engaging, play-based activities tailored to children's developmental needs under the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
Key Person Duties: Managing a dedicated group of key children, tracking their milestones, and keeping progress records updated.
Providing High-Quality Care: Ensuring a safe, clean, and emotionally supportive environment for babies and young children.
Parental Engagement: Building strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers to provide daily updates on their child's progress.
Safeguarding & Health: Upholding high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and child protection at all times.

Requirements & Qualifications
