Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3) to join a supportive childcare team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will deliver EYFS-aligned care and early education, acting as a Key Person to monitor child progress and maintain records.

The role requires a Level 2/3 Childcare/EY qualification, EYFS knowledge and safeguarding procedures, plus strong communication and reliability. Salary £14-£16 per hour, hours 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must possess a full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare/EY qualification (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Demonstrable experience working within an early years setting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Strong communication, reliability, and commitment to early childhood excellence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver EYFS-aligned care and early education.
• Design and implement engaging activities supporting developmental milestones.
• Serve as a Key Person, monitoring progress and maintaining developmental records.
• Establish professional relationships with parents, carers and the team.
• Uphold safe, inclusive indoor and outdoor learning environments.
