Job summary

Willingcare is recruiting a Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a brand-new nursery in Ipswich. You will contribute from day one, help shape the setting, and build strong relationships with children and families.

The role focuses on delivering play-based learning under EYFS, safeguarding, and collaboration with a supportive team. The position offers ongoing training, career progression, and a competitive salary up to £27,900 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS framework
• Plan and participate in engaging, play-based learning experiences
• Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children
• Observe, assess, and support childrens learning and development
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Support childrens emotional, social, physical and cognitive development
• Work collaboratively with the wider nursery team to deliver exceptional childcare
• Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards at all times

What We're Looking For

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A warm, caring, and child-centred approach to childcare
