Job summary

LS2Y Nurseries are seeking a motivated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, responsive and inclusive early years provision that supports the holistic development of every child and their family.

You will work closely with parents, community partners and multi-agency teams to embed LS2Y values and ensure children thrive in nurturing, stimulating and curiosity-led environments.

Qualifications

• Experienced in an early years setting.
• Passionate about the Curiosity Approach and child-led learning.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, EYFS, SEND and Ofsted requirements.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery of high-quality, inclusive early years provision.
• Work with parents, partners and multi-agency teams to embed LS2Y values.
• Promote child-centred practice, emotional wellbeing and play-based learning per EYFS 2024-25.
• Be the Key person for building relationships with small groups of children and their parents/carers.

Location: Chestnut Nursery or Community House Nursery, Huddersfield

Hours: Up to 40 hours a week - at least 30 hours a week, Permanent

The Role

• work collaboratively with parents, community partners and multi-agency teams to embed LS2Y values and ensure children thrive in nurturing, stimulating and curiosity-led environments.
• promote child-centred practice, emotional wellbeing and play-based learning aligned with the EYFS 202425 updates.
• assist?in the efficient and effective day to day operation of the?Companys?nursery provision?encouraging a friendly and stimulating environment and positive attitudes are?established?in a variety of social contexts.
• be the Key person for building relationships with small groups of children and their parents/ carers.
