TeacherActive Limited is seeking a Nursery Practitioner in Carmarthen for an immediate start. You will support children in early years with play-based learning and work as part of a friendly team.

The role offers competitive PAYE rates, flexibility for short- or long-term placements, and access to CPD courses through the My-Progression channel. Successful candidates will have a relevant Early Years qualification and experience in early years settings.

Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

Location: Carmarthen

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £14.25 - £15.00 per hour

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner who is passionate about supporting children in their early years?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mix of Early Years settings across Carmarthen, including private day nurseries, Flying Start settings and Cylch Meithrin provisions. These welcoming settings are committed to providing safe, engaging and nurturing environments where children can learn, develop and build their confidence.

We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner for a mixture of short-term and long-term opportunities, supporting children across the Early Years age range. The successful Nursery Practitioner will help provide engaging activities, support children's development and wellbeing, and work closely with other Early Years professionals to maintain a positive and stimulating environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A relevant Early Years or childcare qualification
• Experience working with children within an Early Years setting
• An understanding of children's learning, development and wellbeing
• A caring and nurturing approach
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Adaptability and a positive, 'can-do' attitude
