Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner for a large private day nursery in Bingley, BD16. The role supports children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS, creating engaging activities and maintaining a safe, positive environment.

You’ll work closely with the nursery team with an immediate start and a clear progression path into a Room Leader role. The position is full-time and permanent, offering opportunities to grow within a trusted childcare environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare desirable.
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to develop professionally.

Responsibilities

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a large private day nursery based in Bingley, BD16, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner. The nursery is part of an established nursery chain and provides an environment where children can learn, develop and build their confidence through engaging and age-appropriate activities.

The nursery is looking to take on an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start available. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), creating stimulating activities, maintaining a safe and positive environment and working closely with the nursery team, with the opportunity to progress into a Room Leader position.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare desirable
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• The ability to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
