Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a Nursery Assistant in Bewdley for a part-time role to support a Pre-school team through the full academic year with potential extension. You’ll work Monday to Wednesday in a nursery setting, helping children learn through play indoors and outdoors and fostering a safe, caring environment.

Candidates should have Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualifications, experience in early years, and a good understanding of the EYFS framework.

Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant looking for a part-time role starting in September? A friendly and supportive Primary Schoolin Bewdley is seeking a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join their Pre-schoolteam for the full academic year, with the potential for the role to be extended. This is a part-time Nursery Assistant position, working Monday - Wednesday, within a nursery setting and supporting young children during an important stage of their early development. In this Nursery Assistant role, you will work closely with the room leader and wider EYFS team to support learning through play-based activities, both indoors and outdoors. You will help to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive. This nursery is looking for a reliable, proactive, and caring Nursery Assistant who has a good understanding of the EYFS framework and a passion for supporting young children.

As a Nursery Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting children’s learning through play-based and structured activities
• Assisting with indoor and outdoor provision to ensure a safe and engaging environment
• Encouraging creative, sensory, and hands-on learning experiences
• Supporting children’s early communication and social development
• Assisting with daily routines, including snack times and transitions

To be successful in this Nursery Assistant role, you will need:

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and early learning goals
• A patient, caring, and proactive approach
• A passion for supporting children’s early development

Working for Flourish Education as a Nursery Assistant, you will receive:

• Competitive Salary - £18,049 - £19,500 per annum (pro rata based on days worked, and experience level.)
