Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Assistant for a private day nursery in the Alfreton area. The role is long-term, part-time, three days per week during term time, from 8.15am to 3.45pm.

You will support children’s learning and development and help create engaging activities to keep children safe, happy and included. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, have experience in a nursery or Early Years setting, and understand the EYFS.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS.
• Paediatric First Aid training is desirable.
• A fun, caring and enthusiastic approach.
• Ability to work well as part of a busy nursery team.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a long-term, part-time basis for three days per week during term time, working from 8.15am to 3.45pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children’s learning and development, help to create engaging activities and ensure every child feels safe, happy and included.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years or Childcare
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• Paediatric First Aid training is desirable
• A fun, caring and enthusiastic approach
• The ability to work well as part of a busy nursery team
