Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher for a full-time fixed-term role in Redditch, starting in September. You will plan, deliver and assess Early Years learning for 3–4-year-olds, supported by three Teaching Assistants to foster a nurturing environment and robust development of each child.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or an equivalent EYFS qualification, with strong EYFS understanding and excellent classroom management, plus confident collaboration with parents and staff.

Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher looking for a full-time role?

A welcoming and supportive First School in Redditch is seeking a confident Nursery Teacher to join their team full-time from September on a fixed-term contract.

This role is ideal for a passionate Nursery Teacher who can confidently plan and deliver engaging early years learning opportunities, maintain a nurturing environment, and support children through this important stage of their development. The successful candidate will work with the school's 3–4-year-olds and will be supported by three experienced Teaching Assistants within the classroom.

As a Nursery Teacher, you will take full responsibility for planning, assessment, and delivering high-quality Early Years provision, creating a stimulating and inclusive environment where children can develop socially, emotionally, and academically.

As a Nursery Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

To be successful in this Nursery Teacher role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Early Years teaching qualification.
• Previous experience teaching within Nursery or the Early Years Foundation Stage.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A nurturing, patient, and professional approach.
• The ability to create engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
