Job summary

Blue Arrow in Basingstoke is seeking a friendly Nursery Practitioner to support children with play, learning and care in a nurturing setting.

You will deliver age-appropriate activities, observe development, document milestones, and collaborate with parents and colleagues while following EYFS, safeguarding and nursery procedures.

Flexible full-time or part-time roles with ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare/Early Years qualification desirable.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and teamworking abilities.
• Patient, caring, and approachable nature.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.
• Nursery/childcare experience beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children.
• Encourage learning and development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Deliver and support fun, age-appropriate activities throughout the day.
• Build strong relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members.

The Opportunity
