Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with a welcoming nursery in Yate to recruit two Nursery Practitioners for permanent roles, starting November or ASAP. You will work with children across the Early Years, supporting learning through engaging activities and helping maintain a safe, nurturing environment.

Candidates should have Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualifications, nursery experience, EYFS knowledge, and strong communication and teamwork skills; competitive pay and CPD opportunities

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming nursery in Yate that is looking to appoint two Nursery Practitioners to join its team on a permanent basis.

The nursery currently has two opportunities available:

• One permanent Nursery Practitioner role starting from November


• One permanent Nursery Practitioner role available as soon as possible

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work closely with children across the Early Years age range, supporting their learning and development through engaging activities and everyday experiences. You will help maintain a safe, stimulating, and caring environment while working collaboratively with the wider nursery team.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare


• Experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting


• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)


• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development


• A caring, patient, and positive approach


• Strong communication and teamwork skills


• A reliable and professional approach to their work
