Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in NG9 is recruiting an experienced Nursery Assistant for a full-time, long-term role from ASAP until May. You will support children through daily routines, deliver EYFS activities and work with the team to foster development in a safe, engaging environment.

Requirements include Level 3 Early Years/Childcare, nursery/EYFS experience, safeguarding knowledge, and strong communication and teamwork skills. Salary £14.25–£15.25 per hour; on-site, Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.
• A good understanding of safeguarding and children's welfare.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery setting in the NG9 area that is looking to welcome an experienced Nursery Assistant to their team. The setting is focused on providing children with a safe, positive and engaging environment where they can learn, play and develop.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis from ASAP until May, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 5:30pm. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children throughout their daily routines, deliver engaging EYFS activities and work closely with the wider nursery team to support children's learning and development.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A good understanding of safeguarding and children's welfare
• A caring and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
