Nursery Nurse

Nurse Seekers are proud to be recruiting a Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner on behalf of a quality private Day Nursery based near South Croydon, London. The successful candidate must be passionate and dedicated with a real want to work and develop young children.

Key Purposes of the role include:

1. To have a strong understanding of the EYFS and how it informs your practice.
2. To be a key worker for a group of children providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment in order to promote each child's development (social, physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual) to the best of his/her potential.
3. Actively participate in planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate and effective children's profiles with observations and development records.
4. To work within statutory requirements of the nurseries policies and procedures.
5. To be able to work successfully in partnership with parents for the benefit of their children.
6. Demonstrate good teamwork and communication within the Nursery environment.
7. Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children.

Requirements:

1. A level 3 NNEB, NVQ, Cache or recognised equivalent Early Years Childcare qualification.
2. A sound understanding of the latest EYFS framework.
3. A working knowledge of safeguarding procedures and policies.
4. Good communication skills with both children and adults.
