Job summary

Olympus Recruitment is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager for a Swindon nursery. You will lead a committed team, ensure high standards of care and learning, and foster strong relationships with families from first visits to school transitions.

You’ll have an Level 3+ qualification in Early Years/Childcare and proven leadership in EYFS settings. The role offers a supportive environment with training, mentoring, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3+ qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
• Proven leadership experience within an early years setting.
• Strong understanding of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
• Confidence to manage people and lead positive change.
• Organised approach and commitment to giving children the best start.

Responsibilities

• Lead with personality and purpose, coach and develop your team.
• Keep care, learning and safeguarding at the heart of the nursery with strong EYFS practice.
• Build parents’ confidence through welcoming, honest relationships.
• Keep the nursery running smoothly by managing staffing, budgets and resources.
